Bio

Tom Lookabaugh teaches and researches in the technology and practice of video communication, high technology businesses, and the intersection of policy, innovation, and management. Prior to joining the faculty at CU, he held various research, engineering, and management positions in video compression businesses, including co-founding a successful business, and culminating in the role of general manager of the DiviCom division of C-Cube Microsystems (subsequently the Convergent Systems Division of Harmonic). He is currently CEO of PolyCipher, a cable industry joint venture developing a new security architecture.
