Bio
Bryan Tramont was former Chairman Powell's Chief of Staff at the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Tramont previously served as the Chairman's Senior Legal Advisor, advising him generally on FCC agenda and circulate issues, and specifically on wireless, international, technology, and consumer issues. Tramont also served as Senior Legal Advisor to Commissioners Kathleen Abernathy and Harold Furchtgott-Roth. Before joining the FCC, Tramont was an attorney with the law firm of Wiley Rein and Fielding. He also clerked for the Honorable Duane Benton on the Supreme Court for his home state of Missouri. Tramont currently is an adjunct law professor at The Catholic University of America. In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Federal Communications Bar Association, and was awarded the organization's Distinguished Service Award. He graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University with a degree in political science and served as editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review at Yale Law School.
